There are plenty of free programs, resources, and tutorials to get you started
and producing your works. For some of us, the first computer graphics we saw was the pong game. For hours that little pixel bouncing from one side of the screen to the other had been hypnotic. Take a look at some history to see how far that pixel has come, and to how distant it will travel has yet to be seen. I had always had an interest in the visual arts. Started back in middle
school with the AV club and has been a growing interest since. Starting back
then with black and white photography, learning techniques in the dark room,
that lead to a color darkroom at home and then digital pictures began to make
the scene. Being able to manipulate, print, touch up, crop all on screen as
opposed to in the darkroom became a huge savings in material and time. It was
just a matter of time before I found that all of the challenge and rewards of
photo's could take on another dimension and lead me into the world of 3d
modeling.
